What is a good way to make childfree friends when you're middle aged?

I live in TX and am looking to make childfree friends. I am married and am not looking to date at all. Is it possible to use the internet to make new friends to do things with? Especially when you're middle aged?What is a good way to make childfree friends when you're middle aged?
I have the same problem. You might be better off hooking up with some local Child-free. I have found that Child-free people are pretty nice in person. Over the net they seem to be a little less friendly (all the negative chat, etc).

Seems like almost everybody now a days regardless of age has kids now a days so that might be a lil hard. Have you tried making friends with neighbors? I guess the internet might work althought I think it might be a bit hard. Never tired but so not sure. Good luck with that though!
