Men, if you wanted to stay childfree permanantly...?

... would you have a sterilization, or would you rather for your wife to do it?

If you already had a vasectomy, was it painful going through the operation? Were you uncomfortable with the idea that the doctors were perform the operation in the private area?Men, if you wanted to stay childfree permanantly...?
ZS the question is; how much do you love your wife? When several of my friends had vasectomies every one of their doctors told them that the pain would be minor. In every one of their cases it laid them out. I think every one of them wanted to seek revenge on their doctor. The thing was, afterward to a man they said that they would do it again. The advantages far outweighed the pain. No more fear of pregnancy. No loss in ability or drive. A real win win. The procedure is far less invasive than the one your wife would have to go through. Good luck!Men, if you wanted to stay childfree permanantly...?
hardly an operation. in the urologists office less than 20 minutes. under sedation, talking to the man the whole time. his nurse was cracking up because i was awake and saying some really crazy stuff
to the answerer before me: with women, to remove the uterus is extremely painful and can cause many many SERIOUS problems as it is all internal... while with men its only a few snips here and there and there aren't many things that can go wrong as the majority of it is external...

to be on the safe side, i would freeze some sperm if I were you... just incase... and then YOU can get it done, rather than your wife. I know many women who are in contant pain because of their operation... and now they no longer have a sex life.
It's kind of common sense it would be done in the private area. I would want my wife to do it because it's a common surgery among women more common then i think sterilization for men is so there would be less of a chance for something to go wrong.
Vasectomy is a piece of cake. Much less invasive then for a female. 20-30 minutes in the office on a Friday, some ice and sympathy over the weekend and then a few check ups and you are good to go.
